“Star Wars Rogue Squadron” writer also wrote a Ricky Gervais comedy

The outlet reported that Matthew Robinson, who co-wrote and co-directed the 2009 film The invention of lies, will be responsible for the script Jenkins is slated to shoot next year.

Not much else is known about the project, nor is it known how long Robinson has been working on it, although sources say he is currently furiously drafting a draft. The project hopes to go into pre-production this fall for filming in 2022. It has a release date of December 22, 2023.
