Bag head is currently in pre-production and the film is slated to begin filming on location in Germany later this year.

The screenplay was adapted from the short film of the same name directed by Alberto Corredor, who will also be director on this new adaptation. The screenplay was written by Christina Pamies and Bryce McGuire.

The film centers on a mysterious being named Baghead. This strange person has the ability to manifest the dead and bring them back to the present world for a limited time.

Many people go to Baghead in times of need as they try to reconnect with loved ones who have passed away. But those moments of vulnerability come at a cost: after contacting Baghead, there is a dark twist, as this mysterious medium has ulterior motives.

Bag head will use this scenario already explored in the short film and build on it, taking an approach similar to the Seen franchise as additional supernatural elements will be added.

Roy Lee will serve as executive producer on the project, bringing his expertise to work on major horror films such as The ring and the HE franchise.

Bag head currently does not have a release date set.
