Murray Bartlett has revealed that filming a rather daring gay sex scene for the comedy-drama White Lotus was actually just a day in the office.
The hit show features Murray’s character, Armond, and Lukas Gage’s character, Dillon, engaging in analingus, also known as rimming.
And while the scene has been described by some as “shocking,” Australian actor Murray, 50, says he and Lukas, 26, were just “playful” on set.

“There wasn’t a lot of talk outside of the time we were playing. And I love this way of working, you just explore “, he said Logo.
“So I didn’t have a lot of questions and I felt like he didn’t really need to explain a lot of things. We just played, ”he added.

The miniseries, created and directed by Enlightened creator Mike White, chronicles the interactions between resort staff and a series of discerning customers accustomed to doing whatever they want.
